Oracle

Tons of infos and white papers on Oracle Technet (free registration required) . Search online Oracle documentation. Ask Tom forum (for sure one of the best moderated Oracle forums). dev.trend forum (Application Architecture and Design using Java, J2EE, XML, UML, Web Services and Oracle products).  Consult Metalink having problems or to see the problems of others (forums, patches, bug base etc. - free registration also required). Very interesting free Oracle Magazine.

My hint on safe use of Oracle products:
1) Use features of a version x in a version x + 1
2) Consult documentation of version x for topics of version x - 1

Data Warehouse

Bill Inmon

Father of data warehouse. White papers and some useful resources (e.g. data models). Read this site to see that data warehouse is not always a "peanut". Subscribe a free newsletter

Ralph Kimball

If Bill Inmon is a father of data warehouse, than Ralph Kimball is a son. You know, father and son are not always the same meaning. Consult this site to see that data warehouse is a peanut, if you have a right consultant. Free newsletter.
